Recordings on 9 28 2023 at The Temple Newark, DE - Think Machine, Graver's Lane

Hi all!! Hope you are all doing well!! Today I'm somehow putting up the first Think Machine & Graver's Lane show on this site, which is wild to me! I recorded this show on my phone, so the audio is a little less Polished than normal, but it's still great to listen to! This is also the first set I've put on this site from The Temple. A lot of information that has come out recently about the former show runner of The Temple. I am glad people have been talking about this in our community!! It is important to keep people safe in DIY spaces!! I am glad they are stepping down, and I am excited to see how the people on the next lease will change how the space is run. The people who are moving in and running shows for the next lease are some of my dearest friends & I am excited to see how they'll revitalize this space!!

For this specific show, I ended up missing Hive Mind's first set. I remember I had committed to hanging out with a friend right before the show date was dropped and I am not the sort of person to back out of a commitment if I can help it. Our hangout ended early due to some weird circumstances & I remember driving over to The Temple & arriving RIGHT before the Graver's Lane set (the one I was most excited to see). I was NOT dressed for a show but that did NOT stop me from starting pits with the people there YAHOO!! (I was for sure wearing sandals. I haven't relistened to the entire set, but I'm pretty sure this is the one where Athena, Graver's Lane's lead singer, comments on me wearing them half way through the set). For some reason the Think Machine set is only the second half of the set. I have no memory of why this is the case. Still great to listen to though, ha.

I recommend you check out the mp3 files & of course if you have any issues downloading the files please reach out! & as a final note, any editing I do is just to cut out portions of talking before & after the set, so while the audio levels will be consistent within recordings they may vary from track to track. This time I did edit the levels on the tracks, as iPhone recordings are more likely to clip a little. This is fixed in the mp3 files and it is NOT fixed in the m4a files.

Hi all! Finally getting to my backlog, I remember I recorded a Liiiiiitle bit of this show. I caught the last few minutes of the Metronome Chomsky set (which I've uploaded even though its very short) and I was actually outside for the entirety of the Worm set lol. My friend Clem was having a bake sale that day & we got permission to camp out outside of Rainbow during the set and sell what was still left to people there :) I didn't get to catch Mind Slime at all but I heard it went well. Listen, I'm on a roll tonight and if I upload far too many shows in one go, so be it :3 I remember this show but I don't know what I could write here that would be able to meaningfully convey what I remember to you, dear listener. I'm preeeeetty sure this was the first time I saw Mechanical Canine which rules ! (& I almost misspelled it as K9 because that's what my original file had on it... oops.) I haven't edited these down so if the opening or end of the files are atrociously long, oh well. The important thing is it's done & out there... the mantra of choice today is Less Process More Product. Shout out to archival theory for helping me get through my own personal backlog, yay. Recordings on 03 16 2024 at Spring Jam at Rainbow Records Newark, DE - Septic, Disaster Artist

Hi!! This was a whole day affair at Rainbow, with sets happening inside & outside. However, I only have two sets recorded, Septic & Disaster Artist. I haven't edited them down at all, so hopefully the start and end aren't too long :) Also, we were late to the Disaster Artist set (which, bummer) BUT the half of the set we caught was really good hehe. Also, I got the setlist from this show from Disaster Artist and it still lives on my wall today. Also, we all wound up buying merch from the trunk of their car and I want to say I either got the last poster or the last pin? (Which, the poster is also on my wall & the pin is on my jacket but I'm too lazy to take a picture of either of these right now, ha). Either way it was a very delightful show hehehe.    The setlist!! Very delightful thing to have... I haven't edited the sets down at all, I'm focusing more on getting them uploaded. But, if the length before the set is long enough that you want me to edit ...
